Cookies
Policy.

Almost no cookies. No advertising trackers. No fingerprinting. Below is the full, honest list of what runs on this site.

Effective from 1 June 2026 · Last updated 3 June 2026

This Cookies Policy explains how Aureon Systems SIA ("we", "us") uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on the website aureonsystems.eu ("Site"). It is published in addition to our Privacy Policy, which you should also read.

1. What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file stored by your browser when you visit a website. Cookies allow the site to remember your preferences, log you in or analyse how visitors use the site. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, pixels and SDKs — they all fall under "cookies" in this policy.

2. Our cookie philosophy

We are a privacy-first studio. By default this Site sets no cookies whatsoever. We use a cookieless analytics product (Plausible) and no advertising trackers. The only situations in which a cookie may be set are listed below — and most of them require your active consent.

You are in control. You can withdraw or change your consent at any time using the cookie banner at the bottom of the page or by clearing site data in your browser.

3. Categories of cookies we may use

3.1 Strictly necessary

These cookies are essential for the Site to work. They do not require consent under EU law because the Site cannot function without them.

3.2 Analytics (consent-based)

By default we use Plausible Analytics, which is cookie-less and EU-hosted. It does not require consent because it does not store identifiers on your device. If you visit a client site we have built, that site may use Google Analytics 4 — those cookies require your explicit consent.

3.3 Marketing / advertising

None. We do not run advertising trackers, retargeting pixels, social-media SDKs or any third-party scripts whose purpose is marketing.

3.4 Third-party content

The map on our Contacts page is loaded from OpenStreetMap. OSM may log your IP address as part of serving the tile request. See OSM Privacy Policy. We do not link this data to your visit.

4. Managing your preferences

  • Use the cookie banner at the bottom of every page on first visit.
  • Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in Settings → Privacy.
  • Sending a "Do Not Track" signal is also respected by our analytics by default.
  • You can email us at Office@aureonsystems.eu to ask any question about cookies on this Site.

5. Withdrawing consent

If you previously consented to optional cookies and want to change your mind, clear the aureon_consent cookie in your browser settings, or click "Cookie preferences" in the footer of any page.

6. Changes

We update this policy whenever we add or remove a tracking technology. Material changes are reflected in the "Last updated" date above. For older versions, write to Office@aureonsystems.eu.
